really easy excel questions

pulling an all nighter here so I'm trying to get this assignment done as soon as possible.

I have 2 columns of numbers, in A and B. I want to subtract B from A and put the difference in column C. How do I do that? I know it's really simple, but I rarely use excel and I don't know the syntax.

And there will probably be more questions later on.

in the 1st cell in C, type =

then click on the 1st cell in A, type -
click on the 1st cell in B, hit enter
copy that 1st C cell down

in column C1 put A1-B1, C2 put A2-B2, etc. , then hit the checkmark box at the top and then hit the equals box exactly to the right of it.

fill down.
