Sorry - I didn't know which forum this belonged in..mods, move it to wherever you feel is best.
Anyway, a client of mine's phone bill contained one or two minute phone calls to "505-724-9165" which is an Albuquerque number. She lives in New York. I searched for the number online and traced it to a "Pleez.net" access number. When I click on contact at their website, I get an error. Her phone line is connected to her officejet fax, followed by a line from the fax to the computer.
Has she downloaded a trojan of some sort? Norton didn't pick up on anything. Verizon(telephone co) offered no assistance.
What can I do to clean this up?
