oops. yeah, its a website for a small local bar, but it is incredible well done, using 8-bit video game characters.

dammit. I knew they reminded me of something. scratch my 8-bit post above, this is definitely a 16-bit website.

Very nice!

The only thing I would change is the text for the links that say About, Menus, Events, etc to make them stick out a little more that is just a minor tweak. Overall it is very cool and attractive. If for any reason you or someone else is looking into this company to buy a site then the only other thing you need to do is make sure their designs are "Google Friendly". Flashy sites are great but if they don't allow Google's crawlers to do their thing easily then they are not good for business.

sadly I don't own a business, but if I did, I would definitively check this company out. they do great work for small businesses.

No, they don't. All their sites are frustrating beyond belief. Entertaining if you want to play around with shitty little visual effects, ineffective when you want to get the information you're looking for quickly and effectively. Hell, some don't even seem to load in Firefox, yea, very profitable.

If you're going to use *big* words, at least know what they mean. Unless you sleep in a circular room, hemispheres was not the correct word to choose.

That site worked for me with FF *shrug*. If their other sites do not then that is an issue for sure. In regards to them being difficult to find information, that just requires some minor design tweaking. You would be shocked how sites like that can do a quick 180 by changing a little bit of the layout, fonts, text sizes, colors, and maybe some simple alternative ways to access info. All it takes is the right mind with the right visuals to make it happen.

Lies, the hot waitresses were hitting on me and begging to give me their numbers. I think it's a cool idea, definitely gimmicky. I like to be able to go to a site and immediately access information, not have to walk around and RPG so I can see a list of specials.

That bar isn't that great in person (one in Chicago), but their website is sweet.

Ya maybe. Sometimes the customer can steer them into the right direction though. The customer may not know how to implement their idea, but presenting the idea to a group of developers is often enough. I guess what I am saying is that these guys do have potential and are offering a product which is not normally seen. It just needs some smoothing of the edges. All it will take is one additional employee with the right mind to make that happen.
