OK, this ad is in the Boston Globe but I can't find the rebates online. The laptop compaq 905US Athlon XP1400 is supposed to be $1000 with a $100 rebate and a $300 CC rebate.

The desktop Compaq 6310US Athlon 1800+ is supposed to have a $50 rebate (that one is on the website) and a $150 rebate from CC.

I know this is sketchy but I don't see the rebates. Page A28 of the Boston globe.

Just go to the Circuit City webpage and do a search on 905US. It brings the laptop up at $999 with a $100 rebate = $899 AR. There was a $200 price drop from $1199 to $999.

The 6310US has been reduced from $599 to $549.99. There is a $50 rebate available if you just buy any Compaq Presario Desktop/Minitower. Thre is also a rebate for $150 if you buy a qualifying Compaq monitor (any 15" 17" or 19" MV, FS, or FP series with or without the box) and a $50 bonus if you buy a 6300US/6310US/6320US/6301RSH/6311RSH PC AND an MV7500 monitor ($250 total).

P.S. - change the subject title to add "after rebate" or "AR"

No you don't understand. The ad for the laptop says $999 already and is supposed to have a $100 rebate and a $300 CC rebate bringing the price down to $600.

Final price on the desktop should be $350 according to the ad without having to buy the monitor.
