Really bad 3dmark 03 score

anomaly

Senior member
So I have
2.4c @ 3.2ghz @ 1064 fsb
2x 512mb Corsair XMS PC3500c2 DDR 424 (or right around there) using 2,3,3,7
Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro stock clock speed
PATA HD
Win XP Pro with all the updates
Now I get something like a 3900 in 3dmark 03. That is using all of the tests. I don't know how to disable the ones after GT. Still though in GT 4 I get down to 1 fps, and average like 20. In GT1 though I average over 160. I can play BF1942 at 1600x1200 4xAA/8xAF and get a consistent 100 fps in DC, the most intense battles only drop down to 70 fps.
This score just seems WAY off to me. Anyone have any ideas?

yeah you should definitely be breaking 5000 with that setup... do you happen to have antialiasing or anisotropic filtering enabled?

What motherboard are you using? I assume an 865/875 chipset with that setup

Make sure you have the latest drivers from ATI.com
BIOS updates
chipset drivers

Also make sure nothing else is running while 3DMark is

I have a 2.8C and a 9800 Non Pro with 512MB XMS RAM on a P4P800 Deluxe and I get 5139. You should actually score close to 6000
