Tell us how you really feel. You know you only have to turn it off right? There is plenty of sunshine outside.

If you hate reality shows why do you watch them?

I admit, their very existence and the fact that people watch and enjoy them is somewhat offensive to me, but live and let live.

From what little I've seen, there's next to NO reality in reality television shows.

They seem heavily scripted and done for the "shock" value.

Absolutely. I used to hate them...but have come to enjoy a season or two of Survivor...I'm not going to lie.

I pretty much exclusively watch Law and Order and other random sitcoms.

Reality TV has lost its pizazz after 2001.

I dont watch them. Again because they are always full of weak-spots, and they always put down a person's ego.

TV today just sucks period.

I have. Thats why at the MOST, spend only 10 minutes a day in front of the TV, and thats for weather. And even the weather channel is in this irritating reality show era because of NBC's buy out.

If its not reality shows, its also extremely annoying medication commercials.

Here's the cynical but true reason they exist.

Reality shows are popular with TV networks because they're cheaper to produce. No need to pay actors salaries and expenses, no need to pay writers. Most of the gits on there will do it purely for publicity. A $1 million prize at the end is a drop in the bucket compared to what A and even B list actors make.
