Well my main pc at work is going to be down for at least 1 week due to incompetence on the part of an online dealer. I ordered a new Antec 1040B for it because I had sold my Enlight and it has to go out today. Well the online vender took my order and then took 3 days to let me know that the order had been cancelled because my CC had been rejected... I had the address wrong... :|

So I ordered from another vendor just now but don't expect to see anything until next Wed anyway.. 🙁

This means all of my machines at work are offline until then because my office machine is the only one connected online and running SetiQ..

Ahh well maybe something will happen sooner but I doubt it..

Just wanted to vent a little 😀

Well I made it back finally on with my new home machine. Got a few last minute items to tidy up but I am back running Seti on this one anyway! (This is my Cel II 850 from my office, now with W2k on it.)

Has an interesting thing happen to me in the process though... seems as though my PS couldn't take the transition from a MSI BXMaster with a PIII 650 to this Asus CUSL2 with the Cel II 850. Had me pulling my hair out and kicking things. 🙁

It would post and run for varying lengths of time then just shut down. I thought that maybe the chip was overheating, this case is a little more crowded than the Enlight so I moved stuff, repositioned the heatsink (PEP66) and tried every combo I could think of.. Still did it.. Finally as a last ditch move I swapped in a generic 250w PS I keep around just for this reason and it all works fine.. 🙂 (With only 1/2 the fans and a couple of devices hooked up that is!)

Ticks me off that my 400w TurboCool just up and died like that! Now I am going to need a new 400-450 so off to the ForSale forum I go! 😀
