realbench "result hash match"

I did a stress test. At the end of the stress test I get "result hash match" several of them actually. Then my system hangs and I need to reboot my comp.

What does that mean? instability?

thanks

sure your system hangs? Real bench actually doesn't give a clear msg when the test ended (I noticed this a few times) unsure whether the test is done or not. When the hash is correct it's unlikely that it would then freeze AFTERWARDS when the actual test is already over...I mean it's possible, but still...odd...

Update. I stress test for 10 min and hit "stop" my system freeze again. It's very odd. The only chance that my system dosn't freeze is i start and hit stop immeidately. My system will freeze for like a min and come back. IT's so strange.

The same thing happens to me. It's not instability. It has something to do with the NVidia display driver and whatever the test does when it's ending. Check Event Viewer. You'll see that the display driver has crashed. OpenCL is the likely culprit.

great. then that means i got 4.3ghz stable at 1.26v and 4.4ghz at 1.285v. That's really impressive.

Set it to an hour or so...if it just crashes "at the end" and you get otherwise matching hashes I wouldn't really worry. I ALSO wouldn't worry about prime95 and other extreme far fetched synthetic tests..the result would only be you limit your system based on far-fetched goals. My $0.02
