I am most certain for games, video encoding and rendering there is improvement....
what I am asking: Is going from a dual core Opteron to a core duo setup going to reveal real world differences?
Loading applications, defraggin hard drive, emailing, web surfing, RDP sessions, management..etc...
i know most users just surf and email...a p3 and 512 with windows 2000 would be just fine...
comments?
