Real Vs Fake Christmas Tree

Fake. It's about 1.5-2 hr drive to go somewhere to cut one down, and the real trees they have here in lots are usually pretty bad

Nice, but eventually it gets old. It's great if you have kids, but if not, it's just a huge pain in the ass. My family always put up a real tree until the last of the kids went to college, then Mom & Dad got an artificial tree and talked about how they wished they'd gotten one years earlier.

So my girlfriend, daughter and I just bought our first tree, it's a Scotch Pine and makes the living room smell great, not sure why we waited so long to get one, was great being able to go out to the local tree farm, pick one out and cut it down, beats the crap out of my tree in a box, 🙄😉

um.. the clean up afterwards.
all the pine needles all over the floor.

prelit 3' tree FTW!
just hang ornaments.

after xmas is over, take down ornaments and put tree back in box.
stick box in closet.
easy peasy

edit:
sure, real tree is great if u have kids.
especially if u take them w/u to cut one down.

Uh... 3 feet tall?

Why bother?

MUCH more manageable than a 6' prelit.
much easier to store.

place decorated 3' prelit tree on top of holiday draped dining room table.
presents all around the table.

again, if u have kids, a bigger tree (real or not) on the floor will be better for the classic 'xmas' feel
