REAL Virtual Reality will become... well... reality in about 25-35 years or so. What will you do with it?

I read this about a month or 2 ago in some magazine I couldn't remember

In about 25-35 years, computer and neuro technology will be advanced enough to have a full AI capable computer capable of generating any simulated environment. It will probably also have a direct neural connection to the brain (aka Matrix ® style , except they'll probably be external and no require sugury), which will allow a full experience of the simulated environment/conditions, just like if it's the real thing.

Due to it's AI engine, It can probably generate any event/conditon one thinks, not just pre-defined one. Ie. I can simply think to be on a beach in Hawaii with 200 cute nyphos, and the VR will do it for me.

If you buy one (will you), what will you do with it. It can be more than one thing.

Mine is (in order of significance):

1. Sex
2. Sex
3. Sex
4. CounterStrike V35.2
5. More Sex
6. Micro$oft Flight Simulator Super Deluxe Pro XP Premium 2035
7. Visiting exotic places
8. Continued Sex
9. Playing God
10. Beating up ppl
11. Sex
etc, etc...

So what will you do?

You'd probably die from loss of sleep if you had that many; not to mention you'd get tired of sex (I know that sounds rediculous but it would get old like anything else). Maybe one or two cute servants that would pleasure me when needed would do fine. Oh and Virtua Tennis2 with a fast net connection (can't forget that).

I seriously doubt I'd use one, at least at first. I prefer real adventures to simulated ones.

Racing games will own, I mean look at how fun some of Sega's arcade games are to play. I think that'll be the most effective form of Virtual Reality for a while, since it's easier to simulate compared to something like a FPS. If only we could create the feeling that Inertia gives us when accelerating, now THAT'D be something to get excited about.

Yeah right. Like they said we'd be living like the Jetsons by the year 2000. or like 2001 A Space Oddessey, exploring the galaxies. Well it is 2001 already where is all this technology? All we are stuck with is a 32 bit processor on a 32 bit OS on a 16 bit shell.....yadda yadda...on down to a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition...you know how the saying goes.

Oh and if and when they do I will be doin it with the gurl that you woulda got if ya haddn't spent all yer time doin a machine.
