real-time voice-changer...?

does anyone know of any kind of gadget that will alter your voice in realtime? doesn't have to be anything special, even something on the level of a child's toy in quality. it just has to alter the voice, and have a microphone and speaker, but can't be computer-based because there is no computer in the room i'll need to use it in. basically just something that allows you to speak into the microphone and it distorts the voice automatically through the speaker... any ideas...?

oh, i should mention that this is *not* for disguising my voice on the telephone, so i don't need/want any kind of telephone hookup...

there big professional analog boards that have been around a really long time. this is why all radio announcers sound alike.
