REAL simple question about P3 667 - it's FSB.

The P3 667 is a coppermine with 133FSB, right? So shouldn't it be running PC133 memory, not PC100 on a NORMAL system. It's just that I see this computer with P3 667 w/ "64MB SDRAM at 100MHz". I just need a simple answer. Yes/No...really.

p3 667's have multipier of 5 and a fsb of 133, PC100 is rated for fsb of 100 but sometimes can do 133 or even exceed 133, based on whether it's CAS2 or CAS3 and what it's running at. Therefore, it is possible for the PC100 RAM to run at 133... although it should be 133 hope I answered your question... anyothers, just post 🙂

1) yes

2) yes because you said NORMAL, otherwise quality PC100 (INfineon) will do 133+FSB

Yes, it normally should, but VIA 133 (Pro) and Intel i815 based mainboards are able to run the FSB at 100 MHz, while the bus to the CPU is at 133 MHz.
