Real quick: Should I buy the Averatec AV3225HS

I am looking to get a laptop for school. Portability is a factor, but I dont really mind carrying a laptop that is 9 lbs versus one that is 6(like this one)...Battery life is a factor, this laptop claims 3.5hours, people have said 2 hours is more exact....I wanted more like 3-4 hours but honestly I could get by with 2...

Speed and such isnt really an issue. I just want to be able to type up notes and such in class. I have heard the keyboard sucks on the Averatec AV3225HS....anybody comment on that?

I can get it for $699 at MicroCenter.

Are you looking at the AV3225HS? I thought it weighed 4 1/2 pounds. If you can only spend 700 bucks, go for it. If you can spend more, look elsewhere.

Short of spending 1200 on a centrino, this seems like the best option.
