Real Quick Ques.

I want to see if this mobo and CPU work but I don't have any thermal grease with me atm (at home)

can I just use the PC for like 30 mins or so to see if it works then put the thermal grease on later when I have it?

it's a PIII 733 / 133
and a DFI mobo.

No, leave it. It is a P3 so you wouldn't break it by doing that but I guess the core temp will become a tad too hot and that sure can't be good.
