real quick, need to know USB header cables....

got a case here that has the front USB with cable that has :

USB - 1, VCC 1, USB + 1, GND 1,
Shield
USB - 2, VCC 2, USB + 2, GND 2

how do i kjnow which goes where on the MoBo's USB pin header??

i know i can blow if i do it wrong, so dont really wanna buy my mate a new MoBo

any site or someone that can help ??

Knowing what mobo you have would certainly help.

If you are talking about the board in your signature, page 23 of the manual has the pinouts.
