I am using an asus a7v 133 w/ 1.2 G t-bird and not overclocking at all. I set the voltage in bios to 1.5 V, but when I check the voltage through included software it reads as 1.808. Add this to the fact that my CPU idles at 60 C (with no OC) with a Taisol cgk760002 w/ ASII applied properly and default fan. I wanted to do a slight overclock, but these numbers a scaring the sh1t out of me. I am waiting to get a digidoc to monitor cpu temp, but does anyone know what is going on with the voltage?

Download the latest ASUS Probe Utility. It might help.

Before you exit the BIOS after you've dropped the voltage, select "Save settings and exit"

Clear the cmos, or via the bios clear configuration setup iirc. Also consider using the modified bios which allows for cpu idling.

a7v and a7v133 both seem to work alot better if you set the vcore with the jumpers on the board itself and just leave bios vcore at "default"

ohh another thing to remember is the a7v and a7v133 both read temps about 10 degrees higher then most other boards, so if your board says 60, then its probably the same temp as if it read 50 on a different kt133a board
