Real Player 7 vs 8 vs Real One : Performance difference??

Hi!

I'm considering uninstalling Real One Player due to stealth TSR programs starting whenever it is used, etc. etc.

However, I've heard that Real Player 8 introduced some of that, and that Real Player 7 is "cleaner" than either with regards to intrusive TSRs, spyware, etc.

So, I'm considering going back to Real Player 7 (at www.oldversion.com ), but I was wondering if anyone knew whether there were actually any performance improvements (or significant bug fixes) in either Real Player 8 or Real One Player ??

You will run into some content that RealPlayer 7 won't be able to decode.

I'm not so sure RP7 is less "evil" than RP8, if you customize the install. But give it a shot and hopefully it works for you.

So is RP8 less obtrusive than Realone?
Is Realone needed for anything?
