Doesn't help that the image and thread on cg was on digg yesterday.

Impressive, but clearly rendered. Not actually all that realistic looking either IMO.

The fact that there are so many straight, defined lines gives it away, especially on the clothing and eye sockets.

I love these threads when a GOOD picture is presented. Then you have everyone coming out of the woods giving their "expertise" on why it's rendered or real.

Rendered, but a pretty good render. The only things that look out of place to me are the eyes, and something about the bridge of the nose strikes me as odd.
