Real or Rendered?

That poll is fixed.

In other news...FAKE because everyone knows that trees dont blur like that.

wtf real..
You're too easy.
The chromatic abberation in the background is a dead giveaway. I'm pretty sure the truck is real too because it contains the same chromatic abberrations, and the lighting matches also.

Haha, okay, I just walked right outside my front door and took that picture, just to see what ridiculous excuses people could make for it being a rendering. I was honestly expecting a rousing chorus of "NO! GRASS UNDERNEATH SNOW ISN'T GREEN" and "RENDERED! NOBODY EVER MADE A BROWN PICKUP TRUCK!"

I was thinking of making up some crap like that (see the other threads I've posted in) but I figured people would get sick of it.

uhhh all the pics have camera info in the jpeg header. They were shot on an Olympus C4000 series camera at iso 100

In other news, Abix doesn't have a clue what low-res P&S digicams with cheap fixed lenses do to fine detail in landscape photos.

I was just going to check for EXIF... darn you're quick. 😉

Edit: third thought: when I first saw that, I thought "why the fvck would anyone go to the work to generate a crappy scene like this in a 3D design program?". 😱

You guys are quick with the EXIF. But the second picture is TEH RENDERED. (Well, sort of. It was a color correction to what I actually saw from what the camera adjusted to because of user error (I completely forgot I was in auto mode)

Edit: OH CRAP, no it's not, I linked the wrong picture, hahaha. Okay, that one's real.
