He does not seem to be standing far enough away from the panel or have tossed the conrtroller with enough force to crack it the way they show.

It looks more like one of those prank screen savers that people put on computers to make people think their display is borked.

My 5 year with a killer bowling swing has hit our vizio about 4 times with the wii remote. No cracks yet... kinda just bounces off.

Looks pretty real. If you rewind, you'll see the crack spread out from the point of impact. What a dumbass. I read lotta people broke the original strap that came w/ the launch Wii. Why do people throw so hard? There's a limited motion range w/ the Wiimote anyway, it's not like your action in the RL will reflect in the game.

He probably set up the screensaver or something, then recorded himself trying to hit that spot at that time over and over again...

Looks fake to me. More like a timed screensaver: he throws rather carefully to hit the screen broadside. Also, the way crack spreads - don't think it happens in real life like that. Ever seen broken LCD? Some crystals ooze out, but part of the screen that's not affected works perfectly.
