We tried to set up a helix server on a Win2k Pro box w/ tvtuner at the office the other day to stream MSNBC to PCs so we could watch war coverage at our desks. It wasn't pretty. We gave up and went with Server 2k w/ Windows Media Services. Much easier to set up and with mpeg4 compression, great quality over a 100BT network. Uses less systems resources than helix as well. Even looks great on my Toshiba e740 PocketPC over our 802.11b network.
If you have access to 2000 Server & WMV/WMA suits your needs, I highly recommend it.
Oh, and I'm sure people are going to come in and say this should be posted in Software, but my post about a similar subject has been in Software for 3 days with no responses.
