I was at a local store, and saw that the dudes at Cyan just re-released the ol' classic, MYST. Now, it has real-time 3D rendering, moving creatures, changing weather and day/night cycles, plus 360 degrees of freedom in movement... no more single JPEG images to click one thing on.
Anyone tried it? It was only $30 (target), but it is too power hungry for my measly system. Requirements are: P2(3?)-450 or higher. 16MB AGP graphics, 32MB of RAM (64 recommended). As you can see by my signature, I only have a K6-2 350, and I hate playing games with the min. hardware... cuase they can't run at Hi-Res without being boringly slow. Also, for you nVidia owners, realMyst is somehow optimized for nVidia chipsets...
I guess I should download the **** 96MB **** :Q demo... but it is just as easy to ask others if they've played it. 😉
