Yes, I bought it...

1) I love Jim Belushi.. his humor, his character

2) I know he's a sexist, however he admits to it publicly, doesn't hide the fact and is damn funny about it! LOL

3) I heard the book was funnier than heck to read, and I was curious.

AND IT IS!

Just a few snippets; "For women, getting engaged is 'The Dream'. For men, it's the End."

"Never get into a verbal fight of any kind with your woman, because you'll lose."

"Love without sex is friendship; sex without love is Spring Break; and if you want companionship, get a dog."

"Women are smaller, yet they take up more of the bed than men. how fair is that? Not very... There is no 'fair and equal' in my current marriage. I am in charge of transportation of goods and services; Jenny is in charge of everything else. Except the grilling, which may be the only thing women really need men for."

The book is hilarious because Belushi is just comical the whole way through. It's like reading his whole stand up comedy act in the book.

What did the research for this book consist of? Going to the local bar and writing down every joke a drunk told him that the vikings originally thought up?

Valkyrie, did you see his interview on The Big Idea with Donny Deutshe show on CNBC last night. I only caught a quick bit of it.

Actually, as I read more it is very funny, but he does have some seriousness to it as well. And he does give some of his own heart felt manly advice. It's a good book.

No, gosh I missed that! But I think last week maybe, there was something on cable. He was being interviewed and the original Cat Woman from the old old Batman series was on there too. Apparently they are neighbors and got into a real "cat fight"... she literally egged his door! LOL

He filed a lawsuit or something and won! Then afterwards they became friends or something... don't remember all the details.

Edit: I think it was a show about having bad neighbors or something like that. It was funny!

Jim Belushi is kinda your "Guy's Guy", and his sense of humor and unique perspective has led to a huge following of men and women. The book talks about dating, marriage, and sex that hits home with just about every red-blooded American male out there, and the women who love them.

I loved Jim Belushi on the old Saturday Night Live series.. loved him in the old movie "The Principle", Red Heat 1988 as Det. Sgt. Art Ridzik, Curly Sue, Last Action Hero which was hilarious...
