I have an '89 Plymouth minivan in the driveway that I could bring up to 12s in a few days. Not a f'n clue what any of them do today. The van is definitely quickest though.

I'm surprised with your mechanical skills that you haven't strapped a big block in there and smoke the little pansy Civics in your VW :)

See that link in my sig labeled "My home away from home" ?

Click it, then click "More Power" ;)

LOL...now that would be a sleeper. Even better than a turbo minivan. :D

Dodge seems to have a fetish with cramming the Viper's engine into weird places (Motorcycle, the new RAM RT/10 pickup), etc.) See if you can get yourself one of those under there. 10 cylinders of madness accustomed to pushing around a ton of vehicle could probably do wonders to that VW - until you got it up to a speed where the windshield implodes in your face from air pressure

First off, if it's not air cooled, then it ain't going in my Bus, second, the polar wieght shift would be too great, the first corner I took the back end would swing around and I would kiss my a$$ and the Bus goodbye.

9.983 sec quarter mile at 140 MPH My 1998 Mustang GT with nitrous cause I sucked at timing it.

7.1?? quarter mile at 162 mph on my friend's turbo Hyabusa. It would do it faster, but I'm scared of the thing.

Manual with 480 hp, the main problem was getting traction. About $3000 in total mods
