Real estate bargain of the century (Seattle area, Puget Sound)

Judging from the map, it's basically across the street from a beach overlooking Puget Sound, located in a subdivision, and has 4 bedrooms and two baths. The price? $64,900. Plus, it's just across the Sound from Seattle.

It's a little small (1,700 square feet), but for a young couple it'd be perfect, IMHO.

Too bad I can't move out there tomorrow! :(

If it were worth more than $64,900, they'd probably be selling it for more.

It's a log cabin. Is that a common form of housing in Washington state?

I would not want to live in a log cabin. For that price range, I would look for an apartment unit that's for sale.

there are two ferries close to there , one on bainbridge island (winslow?) and another north of there. the winslow ferry is probably 10 minutes from that house, maybe 15 minutes. i think that crossing is about 20-30 minutes, something like that

if you drive around, it is about 1-2 hours or so depending on time of day/traffic
