Real DOS-Mode Patch for Windows Millennium

Thanks jkdude!
Actually, this is the reason that keep me away from using WinME. I just feel not comfortable without the Real-DOS prompt when I'm using a DOS-based OS.

your welcome...

Actually, i think that this might help all those who are annoyed that MS decided to take it out of the menu. Oh well, we have it back now, hehe

Before jumping in, you might want to read this short article that describes a serious problem at least one person had. But if you follow the story down to the next item, there's another method to restart WinME in Win98 DOS mode, which can be found at this site.

Why not just make a DOS BOOT disk for your DOS programs? Install a full copy of DOS in a directory, and then you can use the boot disk. Most DOS programs don't run correctly under Windows anyway, except for those using Protected Mode.

Luckily I still have my PC-DOS 6.3 (IBM) disks.
