FYI...a note on the number of bars. The interesting thing is that fewer bars will only significantly affect the uplink speed...downloads are virtually unaffected. With a full signal, I average a little under 5mbps up.

yeh even on Sprints 4G I get up to 10 quite a bit.
It's nice for sure when I have a signal and the speed is good. the problem with Sprint is 1 day its 8-10.. next day its 3..

I've gotten as high as 7-8 Mbit on Sprint 4G (wimax) but typically it's in the 3-4 Mbit range. Pretty good though.

i just did a speed test on vzw 3g, 71kbps down and 1125 up LOL. i ran it again, got 185 down 344 up. kbps. K. i wish verizon would fix whatever they broke here in phoenix, the speeds arent worth the price at all.

Wow, that would definitely work well for online gaming. Verizon has limits on their wireless data only contracts, don't they?

:EDIT: Yep, $80 for 10GB... I'll have to see how much I use a month. I'm looking to ditch the local cable company as they are just terrible to work with and have really bad pricing.

if i switch to tempe server instead of phx server the speed doubles... lately the vzw speeds and connection have been crap. since right around the end of january.
