also, I have a question. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could but a secure digital media card reader that does not require any drivers. If so, which companies have good deals?

I need to get one because I am going abroad and will not have computer access except at a school and I do not know if they will allow me to download drivers.

Thanks for any help,
Andrew

For 21.99 you can get a usb 2.0 6 in 1 reader from kingston along with the memory. If you already purchased the memory than put it in your shopping cart than when the cart comes up you will see it at the regular price. you will see it right there below it on special for the 21$ put that in your shopping cart and remove the regular priced one from the cart it will keep the special price for you. Since you already bought from them they should not get upset about it. good luckcard reader regular price it will read as follows; it is the FCR-HS26/1 USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 6 in 1 CF/SM/SD/MMC/MD/MS Reader

You can try Crucial as I was checking memory prices there and they have a usb 2.0 reader for sd/mmc

And by the way for it to read automatically, and nothing is guaranteed mind you, it takes one of the newer operating systems windows xp home or professional. if it is win 98 or before forget it. or win nt no way. they do not have the built in drivers to read the usb connections properly. :camera:

and some cheap usb 1.1 at this site; 4linkcomm

I wish this was still going. I ordered yesterday and it arrived today in Seattle. Talk about fast shipping! I got the 64MB USB drive and the free 32MB card. This was a very good deal.
