Anyone else having this problem?
I'm running Vista 32 bit and windows will periodically stop using Readyboost. This is on an old machine, but I've realized it's been doing it on new ones as well.
Even when I don't turn off the system or go into sleep or anything, I can check my resource monitor under Disk Usage, and the ReadyBoost cache will be gone. Checking my flash drive, it the cache drive will still be present, but when doing Right click/Ready Boost, Vista will complain that it needs 235 mb free space to use readyboost, when obviously the flashdrive (1gb) is already occuping around 870 from the ReadyBoost cache! Sometimes I can fix it by plugging it back in and out, but sometimes I have to manually reactivate readyboost again.
Is this a problem with my stick? (1gb Sandisk Cruzer Micro), or just Vista being retarded as a I suspect.
