I figured, but what I said was the truth. Once the Apocalypse didn't hit during the year 2000, all of these groups came up with evidence of why the calendar was actually six or seven years off. Of course, they never mentioned it BEFORE 2000. :-/

Actually isn't the calendar several years off in the OTHER direction? Herod died in 4BC, which means that Jesus had to be born sometime before that date. This means that the 2000th anniversary of Christ's birth would wind up falling sometime in the mid-90's.
