Corsair 4GB flash drive CMFUSB2.0-4GB versus Sandisk SDCZ6-4096-A10 :

which is faster for Ready Boost? the key appears to be their non sequential read/write speeds rather than their sequential read/write speeds.

anyone with technical experience/advice on this?

it's odd but it is entirely NOT obvious. Sandisk does NOT say anything about their read/write speeds on their site, how can that be? Corsair, a great company, does say so but it turns out that it is sequential speeds only, which turns out to be irrelevant to Ready Boost performance. It is odd that this is such a tough thing to find out.

thank you very much in advance.
