Readonly Encrypted Filesystem question.

I need an encrypted filesystem that is readonly.

The application is:
I have remastered knoppix and I want to burn a lot of data (all encrypted) onto the Cd. All the data needs to be accessibe once the Live distro is booted and the pass-key is entered/provided.

Does CFS allow this? CFS seems to be the most popular choice for encypted filesystems. In my reading about it, it sounds like the "attach" proscess actually adds soemthing to the data directory to tell people that itis attached (if this is the case, then this will not work on a system where the data dir is read only.

Any suggestions on other encrypted filesystems are appreciated.

Bump. Does anyone have an answer to this? Can you suggest where to get an answer, or another forum to post in?
