I need a powered sub for m home theater. It must work and contain a driver of at least 8" or greater. I might consider one with a smaller woofer - depending on what you have. Looks are not the most important as it will be hidden away from view. Let me know what you have along with your asking price in the first e-mail. I can pick-up and I have cash - or third-party Nigerian checks from a rich recently deposed military leader .

HAH, took me approximately 7 seconds to get the joke.
Methinks those first ones were a joke, 1000 dollars for those copyesque speakers?

Craiglist is for finding good deals on lower end items, not on high-end. It has a decided advantage over EBay, IMHO, in that you know where the guy who sold it to you lives. I helped a friend buy a really cheap but decent PC, for example.
