This is what happens when someone in Marketing, pretends to be an IT person, drafted as a tech-writer, gearing for the newb audience.

I'm a BDD (business desktop deployment) kind of guy, so Microsoft doesn't often give me cool new presents to unwrap.

In other words, you interact with XImage the same way you interact with Xcopy. I hope the fact that it's a command-line utility doesn't discourage you.

That said, it looks like MS is trying to kill the utility developers as it becomes more desperate to add value.

There is a company doing something close to this, can't remember the name, but we did some stuff with them to see how well it would work.

I don't see this taking much of a bite in the corp sector, but I could see Ghost/True Image sales slack with this, assuming MS gets it done (doesn't get axed, like many other features) and done right (not buggy).
