Reading a Mac drive on a PC

I've got a client who needs some data pulled off of a external hard disk and transferred to DVD, and they don't have a DVD burner. Normally this would be a no-brainer, but they're a Mac user, and it's an Iomega brand external hard drive, so I'm guessing it's mac-formatted. If it is, what are my options for reading that drive on a PC, assuming it's USB? Will XP recognize the Mac file system? Are there any softwares that can offer Mac drive support?

Thanks!

You can also format the drive with FAT32 on a PC, and then the MAC can access it read/write and put the files on it.
