Reading a Backup Disc

Hello,

I pulled out about 25 DVDs from an old backup I did about 8 years ago. I beleive there are some files and folders that I have been searching for many months now. Unfortunately, when I insert the DVD there is only a README.txt file and all that files shows is:

This disc is a backup CD.

Except for this file the contents of this disc must be
accessed using your backup software.

Over the years I have used and tried many different backup products, and for the life of me can not get any I have now to read these discs.

Can anyone tell me if there is a utility that could allow me to read these discs, or perhaps would anyone know what backup software writes a similar txt file to each disc?

Thanks in advance.
