Reader won't read 4gb MS Pro Duo stick

I have a zv6130us laptop and the thing won't read the new 4gb duo pro stick I just bought. Now it is one of the cheap ones from ebay that I bought for my PSP. The PSP reads it just fine but my laptop won't. I've tried it in a newer model acer laptop and it reads just fine.


Any ideas???
 
Does your lappy read other sticks? Another possibility is that the reader simply can't handle a stick that big, though I've never heard of that preventing it from being read at all. Just an Idea.
