Why wait for this when you can get the brand name IBM Microdrive?
Of course, the PRICE!!!

<< "The product will ship in third or fourth quarter of 2001 with a target retail price of half of IBM's 1GB Microdrive selling for US$400-500," said Thomas Su, CEO of Ritek's subsidiary, U.S.-based MicroStor Corp. >>

I'm slightly confused...(cause I have no idea what a microdrive runs)

Will this be $200-250 or 400-500?

If it's $200, I'll be selling my Visor and buying a pocketPC :)

The IBM micro-drive is selling in the $400 range. I've seen them as low as $350. If this guy will work with my Cassiopeia I'm lookin to have a pretty sweet portable MP3 player along with my PDA. I wonder how the PDA battery will hold up with the drive running?

Right . . . and when that happens, that competition will drive the Microdrive price down. In the meantime . . . :)
