Hey all - I just noticed something weird. I was checking my stats on Orange Kid's proxy, and there are two work units completed that I don't recognize - you'll know which two I'm talking about. Is there any way to find out where the heck those came from? I don't mind 'em being there, I'd just like to know how they got there in the first place. 😉 Here is the link to what I'm talking about.

Which ones? i don't see them... lol...

Perhaps someone mis-spelled the user email when they signed up, or a friend of yours is using your hash file.

It could be related to OK's recent problems. Maybe you should change the title of this thread to include "232-252.RCN.ORST.EDU", so whoever it is can fix it 😉.

Any of this look familiar?

There are a few threads talking about these user_info problems coming from OK's proxy when it had the problem the other day.

Check all your clients user_info.sah files and make sure yours didnt get swapped with anyone elses. Secondly add crt1530's name to this thread and PM him about the problem. 😀

I checked my own user_info.sah file and made sure *just in case* - looks good from this end. I'll PM crt1530 as soon as I'm done replying here. You guys'll probably have to help him out though in changing his own user_info.sah file as I'm not exactly an expert on that.

PM sent. Time to play the waiting game. Thanks, SHUX for your help. You can probably help him out with fixing his user_info.sah file as well once he knows what's going on - I assume you can do that better than I could. I just learned how to look at my user_info file today, afterall.

Merry Christmas!!! (I guess)

Thanks! 😀 Good thing we got it figured out. Hopefully you can change your user_info.sah file so that it records your work units for yourself now (as much as I'd like to keep 'em 😉). Glad we got it all straightened out.

Ha...I just checked the DHCP settings for my school, and apparently that's my roommate's computer. I let him know about it.
