read-only folders and files

i've tried everything, but my starcraft folder won't change it's attributes

I need a method or a program to make the folders and files force an uncheck of read-only attributes.

Right-click the folder, Properties, Security, Advanced, Owner, then take ownership of the folder and all subfolder/files. After that finishes, try to uncheck the read only attribute. Out of curiosity, why are you trying to change the attribute?

thx, I'll look into it.

this might sound stupid, but when I'm on the ASIA SERVER on battle.net, the maps no longer automatically download to the map folders (download). it's probably more than just a read-only issue I think, crappy patches that Blizzard makes these days.

Blizzard is a crappy company now. GL kids
