Read Intel would cut chipset prices, but when??

I recently read an article that stated Intel was cutting motherboard chipset prices, but I can't find the article. Might only decrease a motherboard price by $10, but every little bit helps & it would be nice to know when this was going to occur. Anyone?

intel typically cuts prices on a landmark day, such as memorial day, or labor day.

labor day will also mark the official release of the 2.8Ghz and 2.6Ghz P4 northwoods at 533bus
