I like 3dfx. Though im a very strong nvidia fan, im not a 3dfx basher either.
The voodoo6000 would have been a huuge fault on 3dfxs part.
For one, with cards getting faster and faster and framerates high enough these days you can no longer say a card is better than another simply on speed. These days its all about features!
And with 4 chips and 128 megs of ram costing close to 500-600+,
the only real feature it has is Fsaa and no real support for the great stuff directx8 would offer.
No they save time, money and resources to get their REAL next gen chip up to par and maybe get back in the competition.
