If you mouse-over the thumbs-up on the lower right of a post, it gives you the choice of how to react.

I see you edited your pic, so in case of that, I have no idea why that feature isn't there for you.
 
This is curious - I have the icon, and if I hover over it I get a choice of the same icon - nothing else. And that is OK by me - the thumbs down really has been abused and should be eliminated anyway. It does not appear for me.
 
you have 28 posts and your account is 6 days old. i'm guessing you're not allowed to use that system yet, as an abuse prevention measure. believe it or not, some people don't have anything better to do with their time than make new accounts for the purpose of circumventing the limit on number of reactions a day in order to mass downvote people.

Thanks for your reply, yes that would make sense but the icon has now appeared. I have no intention of down voting members, some replys deserve a thanks tho.
