ahhhhhh.....yes.

used the toggle switch for the first time ever (go figure) to see the difference back-to-back when FSAA is enabled and disabled

simply incredible

no wonder all the racing and sim websites/forums rant and rave about the 5500

there is no comparison.......
 
what kind apower supply/mobo didja have?

did you up I/O voltage?

disable win98 splash screen during startup?
 
I have an Abit BE6-II, latest BIOS. The I/O output was at 3.5 Default. To be honest I could not get the card stable at anything over 130-133 FSB. My VisionTek GTS ran my 500e at 750 (150FSB) and now my cC0 700e @ 966 (138FSB).

I have still a Voodoo2 in my rig for Glide, but considering the fate of 3dfx I don't think I went wrong.
