received many emails regarding RIVA3D (www.riva3d.com) and other negative posts that have been posted over the last couple of days. Unfortunately, there were a couple of miscommunications and mishaps which have led to these negative posts. Please allow me to assure you that NVIDIA does not have a policy of strong arming any member of the media.
It is not unusual for large companies to be attacked on the Web, and it is our policy not to publicly respond in most instances, but on behalf of NVIDIA, I would like to say that we do appreciate your patronage and we do not attempt to dictate what is or is not covered online.

Oh, and, yeah, nVidia can BLOW ME after they blow steve. nVidia really funked up and lost a lot of sales to hardware/computer/tech geeks. Actually, nVidia didn't lose jack, their vendors did, nVidia lost nothing, Guillemot/Hercules, CL, Visiontek, Elsa, Leadtek, etc. are the losers cuz of big daddy nVidia.

It does not matter. I am waiting to see what an All In Wonder 64mb Radeon (MAXX maybe also?) would look like.

Just because you are big and bad does not mean you can go bullying anyone around. Just look at what happened to Intel for that matter. It is the customers in the end that counts and not the multimillion dollar negotiations and contracts you get. Let people spread the word.

If you have nothing to hide about your product, then let the people review it in peace. Leave the judgement up to them. And as for those Press Release (as I use to call them... ) or People Relations... Hmmm. I guess those two people in nVidia are not living up to the rightful meaning of People Relations. Since when did relations have to go dry and end up in frustration in the business world or the world for that matter....

Oh wait the minute! I forgot what "world" I was talking about. That is life for you. And it sucks!

The thing that has thrown me for a loop here is that I usually buy what I feel is the best product for the money and I try not to subscribe to the "video-card-fan" mentality. However, I gotta say that I really do not respect NVidia as a good corporate citizen and I am not sure that I will be able to reward their behaviour in the future with my patronage - even if they do happen to build a good card...
