That stuff got me kinda out of whack. It's kinda scary... I mean "Oh yeah I'm gonna kill myself, look for Dan Bucci tomorrow!"

And then a video and all..... that just freaks me the hell out!

yep i had an unexpected reaction as well..

Usually i would go "what a dumb fvck" or something in that line and just toss it out (ie. that idiot that got burned badly by batting a melon full of kyrosine or something).

but for some reason, this story got me depressed and sad. I felt sorry for him.

It can be, especially if you do them by yourself. A lot of times people freak out like that but they have people there to bring them down and tell them that everything is going to be OK and that they are just tripping. That guy didn't have ANYONE except people egging him on to kill himself.

Don't trip alone or while in a bad mood. If you have latent psychological problems they can come boiling to the surface while on hallucinogens. There is a reason I've never touch anything that makes you hallucinate.

well, let just me say that anyone who starts a trip with the attitude of "i better ****ing halucinate (sic) like a mother ****er" is cruising for a bruising, and that's just what he got. proof that power in the hands of stupid people is dangerous. one other thing: if they smell really bad, as he mentioned, then they were probably spoiled, which means they have been contaminated by other molds. he could have ingested any number of poisonous molds in addition to psilocybin. this kid gets the darwin award.

edit: i say this as a person with considerable experience with these and other hallucinogens.

Drug 'pusher' has to be a government invention. If I wanted to 'push' drugs, all I need do is tell a few adults I have some to sell, then sit back and watch them come from all over to buy them. No 'pushing' involved unless its drug buyers pushing each other out of the way.

Without buyers, there would be no sellers.

Although I'm sure it could have been preventable under more controlled circumstances.. He probably wasn't mentally stable to begin with.
It was the user, not the drugs, or the fact that he did a psychedelic on his own.

Jesus. How sad. :(

I took shrooms once with my friend. Things were very trippy but I never felt like killing myself. It was just massive hallucination like seeing tigers run across the room. I'm out of the drug scene now though.
