ok taz did all your tweaks and went from 3495 to 3397 in 3d mark and from 63.5 fps to 57.0 in quake demo.you know the amazing thing is when i had the 7041 drivers installed untweaked registry is when i pulled the higher marks shown.i have seen an improvement in graphics and a sharper screen though,perhaps at the cost of some speed performance!i dont understand how you can achieve such high performance gains and i could not.many members at rage 3d have said messing around with reg settings tends to slow speed and cause graphics problems in gaming.at this point i dont know really what to believe for editing registry. if you have any suggestions i could try that might improve speed let me know. by the way how do you reinstall mmc from cd without the video driver installing.could'nt figure it out.also there was a setting called flags under the atidxhal key when i installed 7089's. what does this setting do? should i keep it? paun------
