Re-seating ram fixes memory issues? Or maybe it's the solar flares.

So, I had a BSOD yesterday. WhoCrashed indicated that it might be a memory issue, so I ran Memtest 86+. Well, errors started showing up pretty quickly. I have been using those infamous Ballistix ram that needed 2.2V for quite a long time (though only at 1.8V, 99.9% of the time), so maybe it's about time they just died, but when I tried to figure out which stick was bad, I wasn't able to find any errors. Actually, I now hove all sticks of ram I was originally using installed again, and nothing seems wrong at all. Of course, I didn't do any lengthy or overnight testing, but still, the obvious errors are gone. Maybe it really was just the solar flares.

Could be heat creep. RAM sticks have been known to work their way out of their slots just enough to cause errors, although this is rare with today's mobos; the retaining clips do a good job of holding them in place. Or, maybe solar flares....
