What ever came of this case? I know he was convicted and will spend life in FPMITA prision.

Did they ever determine a motive? AFAIK, he never admitted anything.

But was there ever any "official" speculation about the motive? I don't recall reading/hearing anything about an officially certified alleged motive. I.E. she was insured for $1M, etc.

From what I've read she was the perfect wife. I don't think she put him through hell, I think he was just a fvcking bastard that jsut wanted to be free and clear of his wife and didn't have the grapes to go through a divorce. Every time I see a picture of that lady I just want to blow his fvkcking brains out. He had it ALL and gave it up for some dumb bimbo.

Yep, basically what every one else here is saying, which was all over the news during the trial. He decied to split, didn't want to share anything, didn't want a child to deal with. This type of murder is all too common.

He was sentenced to die, not life in prison, so ten or 15 years from now his sentence will be carried out.

Pschologists have said it is very diffcult to go from normal guy to butchering your wife in multiple pieces while preganat and offing her in the bay. He had no prior violent offenses and had no history of animal abuse/cruelty.

How a jury could not see reasonable doubt is beyond me?

OK. My original question has been answered. The answer is NO. No MOTIVE was ever officially determined/proven.

My guess is that he will kill himself in jail before he's executed. He just strikes me as that type of guy. He has no remorse for what he did. Yet he's not crazy at all. At least he's honest.

im suprised there has not been a re-trial of this yet. there was a lot of crap that happened during the trial.

The problem is that Scott Peterson only seemed to be a normal guy. The fact that he could call his girlfriend and pretend to be celebrating the New Year at the Eiffel Tower in Paris when in reality his pregnant wife has been missing for a week tells you all you need to know about Scott being "normal".
